When I was growing up there were some unwritten rules of how to behave.
One was that if you meet a bloke when he's with his girl you big him up in front of her - even if you think he's a complete tosser. This rule was followed religiously and anyone who broke it got a kangaroo court and a royal pasting.
Another was that you never, ever,under any circumstances strike a woman. I never heard of it happening in my childhood but if it ever had I doubt it would have been possible for the culprit to stay at the school. He would have been beaten up every day.

A wife beater who finds need to beat his wife at every juncture is a cunt.
Someone who has hit his wife possibly once or twice with a few slaps when angered to distraction in 20 years is not the same as a wife beater, it is wrong to hit a woman that is true but sometimes very rarely if a man feels so cornered sometimes that may seem to some like the only way out, but as I said once every 5-10 years and I am talking slapping a few times without extreme force not beating around a room like Mike Tyson just a slap, though not right can be somewhat if not 100% understood. Some Men are prone to it but it is thankfully becoming a thing of the past and thank God for that.
